Different emotes per profession
Okay so I was taking screens for my contest earlier and spamming emotes, when a thought occurred to me - other than dance, all professions have the same emotes. They all do the same thing. For instance, /bored, /sit, etc. are the same for the female ranger, warrior, and monk. The rest all have their own which is the same. But then I did some emotes on my monk and they were different. So my idea was, why not have a different /bored, /excited, etc. emote for each profession/gender? I know this would probably never happen but it's just an idea. What does everyone else think?

There way better things to implement than some emotes people rarely use even in town.

I think there is a large diversity of emotes considering they serve no real purpose among all classes.

Don't see why they would bother changing it now.

I know /shoo on my dervish is different than /shoo on my paragon. /Sit is also different amongst professions.
Regardless, their limited usefulness means they don't get much attention.

the only emote i use is dance and its only on corpses when in PvP, which is rare, so personally I dont care. I dont see the use/purpose in it and think resources could be used better in other places.
sorry

Actually, they all have at least one skirt armour, so not really.
The only female professions that sit differently are Warrior, Ranger and Monk.

If any profession should have their own emotes, it's the Sin. Why did my female sin have the exact same set of emotes as an ele or mesmer(besides dance)? They're not "girly". They should have a more punky set of emotes rather than the valley girl drama queen sets of the more "prissy" classes.
I deleted my female sin anyway...so it's no big deal to me. It just makes more sense. It just annoys me to see this character made for solo work killing people face to face, hiding daggers and poison darts and whatnot in their armor...z-snapping me in their /taunt.

QFT.
Because Assassins = Ninjas.
Ninjas > ALL.
Girls = TEH AWESOMEST EVAR.
So it's only natural that Ninja Girls > Existence.
Can't believe Anet failed to realize that.

What I REALLY want changed is a lot of the emotes shared by male Rangers and Eles. Especially the instruments... Hell they look awful, especially flute.
A few female warrior emotes could use a little bit of tweaking... I don't like /guitar in particular. But the one that I think Anet did an excellent job on was /guitar, /drums, and /flute on male warriors. They look like they're really enjoying the music.

I think there are many more things needed in this game than how you wave your hand.

Well the reason I suggested this was because of the contest I'm holding. More emotes means more varieties for awesome shots for a contest.

Please tell me you're joking. You want the dev team to spend time, money and manpower creating new animations because of a screenshot contest?
